Meetings for resilient agriculture and territories

“Scagni” is the word used by male and female farmers of Casperia to indicate the habitual practice of collective work and mutual aid during the important moments of the agricultural year.

Inspired by this tradition, we will host a three days meetings between locals and guests from everywhere about the conditions of agriculture and rural life in Casperia, in Sabina, Italy.

Let’s defend our territories from environmental hazards, from old and new GMOs. Let’s give hope back to the inhabitants of the inner areas, reweave the disintegrated threads of the social fabric, give new impetus to local agriculture and craftsmanship. Let’s celebrate the knowledge and practices of farmers, rediscover conviviality, and nourish resilient agriculture and territories.

The event includes assemblies, theater, cinema, photography, music shows, local production market, shared lunch, and a walk to rediscover the historic places of Casperia.
